TransDetect? Cell Counting Kit，是一種基于水溶性四唑鹽的細胞增殖和細胞毒性檢測試劑盒。它在電子耦合試劑1-Methoxy PMS存在的情況下，可以被線粒體內的脫氫酶還原為可溶性的橙黃色甲臜(formazan)。甲臜的數量與活細胞的數量成正比。細胞增殖越快、細胞毒性越小、細胞數量越多，則顏色越深，顏色的深淺與細胞數量呈現良好的線性關系。該產品細胞毒性小，對后續(xù)實驗沒有影響，與MTT，XTT，MTS和WST-1相比，此法檢測靈敏度更高，線性范圍更寬，適用于藥物篩選，細胞增殖測定，細胞毒性測定和腫瘤藥敏實驗。
